Third Party Monitoring
- We provide independent monitoring services and systematically collect and analyse data to provide the main stakeholders of an ongoing intervention with information on progress and to support decision making.
- We are skilled in utilising various analytical approaches, such as utilisation focused approach, spot checks, direct observations, progress tracking, performance monitoring among others and using GPS embedded survey CTO, which enables our team to collect data using tablets or smartphones in real time.
- We generate evidence-based case studies emerging from the TPM data to strengthen the programme objectives.

Capacity Building
- Our training is experiential, iterative and case-based to ensure relevance. It is created with and informed by VIG staff’s in-depth understanding of issues at hand.
- The VIG approach to training follows the same principles as the 70-20-10 learning theory model, which states that learners absorb 70% of information through practical applications of theory, 20% through peer-to-peer learning, and only 10% through traditional training methods.
- By applying knowledge and skills gained during the training into the development of action plans, participants can use training interventions as a platform for change.
- Participants are actively led during the sessions with different activities that facilitate practical learning.
