The Institute
The Vashi Impact Group provides a comprehensive suite of interactive and self-paced online and offline courses alongside a robust community of practice, specifically tailored to support researchers across globally managing complex and complicated research and evaluations. These resources are designed to aid in the analysis, interpretation, and application of data within fragile contexts. Additionally, our offerings include specialised courses on climate change and gender dynamics. The Institute welcomes a diverse audience, including practitioners, donors, and research professionals, from research assistants to principal investigators.”
OUR METHODOLOGY
- Our training is experiential, iterative and case-based to ensure relevance. It is created with and informed by VIG staff’s in-depth understanding of issues at hand.
- The VIG approach to training follows the same principles as the 70-20-10 learning theory model, which states that learners absorb 70% of information through practical applications of theory, 20% through peer-to-peer learning, and only 10% through traditional training methods.
- By applying knowledge and skills gained during the training into the development of action plans, participants can use training interventions as a platform for change.
- Participants are actively led during the sessions with different activities that facilitate practical learning.
